For God. For People. For the South Shore. For the Nations.
We have a vision of the church to once again become the center of community – this is to recognize that the church isn’t a building, it’s a movement of God through the people of God. Whether gathering at our Duxbury campus, working within our vocations, traveling overseas, or serving in the community, we the people of God are the church wherever we go.
It is our desire to be the church by building relationships in the community that lead people to Jesus.
“Yes, I am a Christian.” Is the answer to the question often asked of someone who speaks of God being in their life. But when one does state, ‘I have God in my life.’ are they in fact speaking of following Christ in the manner the scriptures teach?
Duxbury Brazilian Church meets weekly on Sunday nights starting at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome to join Pastor Ademar Lima in Fellowship Hall on the church campus.
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
